Dunno if you're being sarcastic but in his prime Torres was a powerful striker. Pace and power. Played as a solo striker up top. In his pomp for Liverpool he could do it all. Hold it up, link up, handle long balls, guard the ball from defenders and draw fouls, win headers, score headers, play on the shoulder, take players on etc. He didn't need anyone to do his donkey work. The point being, the way he played he could have been 5'10 and still done all of those things. So yeah, I was being sarcastic just ever so slightly. I'd like them to go all out for a forward/wide player who can play both roles so we have some flexibility rather than buy a Crouch type or an average winger.
