I keep seeing this pop up about Gayle all season. What the fuck do other strikers do? Does Aguero run rings around the entire 11 all game every single game? Thought it was a bad signing at the time, but his record is amazing, we are creating plenty of chances in games, which is a great sign but every team needs a striker that can take those chances, he's been fantastic so far. 11 Goals by mid October, that's probably more than Sunderland have scored all season !! He didn't play many games under Pardew due to not being 6ft plus, but in the few games he did get on, his finishes were pretty good from what I saw. Decent from the penalty spot as well IIRC.
