Newcastle Fan
It was a mistake to let him go, but like we’ve said I guess it was the only way we would get Rondon. In isolation it would’ve been much better to keep him. He's a championship striker, had more than one chance to prove otherwise and failed, that being said he is a superior option to Joselu who is hardly a footballer. I thought last season was his first opportunity as first choice striker. He started with an injury which affected his confidence, and then he struggled with his finishing, but the amount of chances he had, and missed, was quite high. History will clearly remember him as a champo striker but it could have been different.
nemtizz
Nice to see him cheat Forest out of a couple points.
54
West Bromwich Albion forward Dwight Gayle has been charged with "successful deception of a match official" in Tuesday's draw with Nottingham Forest.
St1pe
Was it a blatant dive? I only read some Forest fans whinging about it on twitter and figured they’d deserved it.
themanupstairs
Hahaha does that prick Lansbury still play for them?
Yorkie
Hahaha does that prick Lansbury still play for them? Signed for Villa in the January of that season, and scored for us in a Villa shirt a couple months later.

Fuck yeah it was blatant, funny watching O'Neill jumping up and down like a demented headcase though

ujpest doza
Was it a blatant dive? I only read some Forest fans whinging about it on twitter and figured they’d deserved it. I've seen it from every angle and it looks like a dive in every shot bar one where it looks like he does get caught.
AyeDubbleYoo
He does enjoy a dive.
Kanji
there are blatant dives every week - do they all get retroactive punishment?
SteV
there are blatant dives every week - do they all get retroactive punishment? Just when they work and it effects the game i.e this one won a penalty.
