Guest
Get an upgrade in the summer, upgrade Diame in the summer, keep Shelvey, Longstaff and Ki.
David Edgar
Every performance is only going to increase his value. Every southern bottom half Prem team should be looking at him as a squad option.

toon25
Can't fault him atm. Working hard and playing well. Aye. I’ve been a critic of his but he’s really won me over with recent performanxes
toontownman
Started a gofund me page to transport his entire family to Newcastle, build a replica house and community to the one they are living in dan saff. Should do the trick.
mrmojorisin75
Can't fault him atm. Working hard and playing well. Aye. I’ve been a critic of his but he’s really won me over with recent performanxes It's no coincidence Longstaff has taken the more defensive role and he's thrived really. Perhaps he's not as suited to sit, break things up and distribute. Looks class box to box.

TRon
Hope we get a decent fee for him, at 23 £8-£10m would be a steal for a mid-lower Premier team.
St1pe
He's 23, when will any of you learn? Worth a bump from a few pages back.
Happinesstan
Have nothing but respect for this lad. Outstanding again today. This. Absolutely commendable contribution, given his personal circumstances. I think credit to Rafa and his team, for keeping his motivation up, also. Dokko
Be great if he sorts his personal issues out. If not he deserves our blessing to go as the professionalism he's shown when we needed him most this season will be remembered.
morla84
Class to see him last on the pitch with lascelles instead of sulking
taxfree
Can't fault him what so ever. 100 % dedicated and professional despite his issues.
Odear
I wonder if we might see him stay. A lot has changed. He was probably reluctant to bring his family up here because he was last choice.. not so much now. Unless he genuinely wants out of the club.. but you wouldn’t know that way he’s been playing. Respect to the lad.
jonny1403
He's dead wood. Let him go. Never going to be PL standard Doesn't change the fact that our midfield is dross and we desperately need 5-6 new players of PL standard. Disco
Preferred the one saying he should be sacked.
samptime29
Hope we get a decent fee for him, at 23 £8-£10m would be a steal for a mid-lower Premier team. I think we will. He's been committed and looking like a very solid midfielder ATM. If we can get a fee in that region, happy to say thanks and good luck.
Shearergol
Preferred the one saying he should be sacked. Can I claim that one? To be fair to him, his attitude is much much better now than his first couple of games back in the team, where he was shirking challenges.
The College Dropout
Was it Cardiff? On at HT, terrribke performance and sent off. Didn’t want to be here. I was done with the lad. But In this recent run he’s been fantastic. As many goals and assists as Shelvey managed all of last season. The B2B role suits him much more. Despite his need for a break ever 70 minutes he has a fantastic engine. With him and Longstaff in the side with minimal games in their legs. We are much more dynamic compared to other teams in midfield. Of course they are way better but Liverpool have shown how a hard working, mobile, strong midfield that can get the ball forward at pace can succeed even with a lack of guile.
