Could do with Mitro scoring some open play goals in pre season.

Aye. Will he be eligible to play for the reserve side while he serves his suspension for the first team?

Yeah, If they banned him from U21 games they'd have to actually deplete a match from his ban everyone time we played one

At least he'll still be getting run outs with the U21's for the first few weeks then.

FA website says he's banned from both, fwiw.

Edit : Read that wrong, says he isn't but it's a competitive match scenario which makes xLiaaamx right. It's not exactly clear from the wording they use. Hope he does get some game time though, keep him up to fitness.

If we cast our minds back to last year's nightmare pre-season, where we scored 3 goals in our first three games winning two of them though against the might of Gateshead and Sacremento Republic. We didn't win another game all pre-season last year. Results really do not matter right now, but this year things just seem better organised and going more to a plan, don't think McClaren even had a plan last year.

Last year was a disaster no doubt, but to be fair McClaren had nothing to do with planning our horrible pre-season and that was definitely a problem. He had no plan and was not able to make one.
