Altamullan
For any one being far too reactionary on here. Bournemouth's start to their Championship winning season in 2014-15. http://i.imgur.com/hMz0DWy.png Great shout. Pity about the absence of first match thread luck. Hayden did have a header early... thought it was going to be on!

Torn a new one down our right flank first half too.
Flip
Just seen the highlights, seen Ritchie missed another very good chance towards the end.
joeyt
Live I thought that Mbemba should've had a freekick before the second goal. I don't he just lost the ball and wasn't strong enough. Should have taken a foul for the team but didn't. Shame as I thought some of his dribbling and driving forward was good 2nd half yet you could argue he cost us a point in the end
Wullie
The wide options we've got are absolutely terrible, we'll have to bring someone else in. Compared to last time we were down there, it's laughable.
Ash
Not a clue why Shelvey seems incapable of moving when the opposition have the ball near our box.
Guest neesy111
The lack of strength in our team is a huge worry for me.

Guest singintheastand
look, we should be ripping this league apart, no we'll be ok after a few games etc.. we're shit ok, players need guidance, rafa needs to get a plan together and sign some creative players... Ronaldo
I know we've got bigger problems but £12m for Mbemba when he can't even hold his own against Championship shit? I hope Graham Carr's done, like.

Andy84
It was s*** but we should have got something like, totally dominant second half without any cutting edge. Our left side is the problem, no doubt about it. We lack balance on the left and it needs to be sorted. Still think we will be top 2 but obviously we need to get our f****** act together, we look like a side who really haven't adjusted to the level at all. Scoot
What a shite performance once again. The first half was one of the worst I've ever seen as a Newcastle fan (and that takes some beating/matching). Ritchie changed the game when he came on at half time but you have to ask why he didn't start the game. I know he was a doubt and had a late fitness test but if he was fit enough to be on the bench, he should have been fit enough to start the game. We've signed a lot of players this summer and it's obvious they are going to take a bit of time to gel. I just hope that's all it is, a matter of the team gelling. We look very very slow when trying to pass the ball between ourselves.
Wallsendmag
No positives to take into the Reading game at all. 2 defeats, 2 poor performances. We look poor in every area of the pitch. Staggering how many simple 4/5 yard passes didn't even find their man. I was giving Shelvey a bit of stick as he was the main culprit but looking back he was the only midfielder who actually wanted to get on the ball. Not impressed at all by Hayden and surely the game is well and truely up for Anita now after another truely dreadful performance. His place is as a back up right back and nowhere else. Gayle's failure to control simple passes was also a worry and hopefully once Mitrovic is back he's removed from penalty duties.
Tubestationatmidnight
Again I reckon we are over hyping and over estimating how good our players are. I said a while back our signings don't look great and Rafa has a dodgy record in the market. Players just not good enough for me Needed a left back and a playmaker and a goalscorer for ages and we still haven't signed them.
