TRon
The Gouff, the Gouff, the Gouff is on fire. Interesting to see Lascelles benched too, maybe a little kick up the backside for him. No Colback still feels good It feels fantastic. Gouffran on the wing really makes me nervous though. Pleased Rafa's done something about the defence though, I like Lascelles but he's been costing us points.

Collage
Don't love the team but it's an indictment of our squad. Starting to wonder what the point in Gamez was, mind Aye. Guess he's not (match) fit.

TRon
Left side is back to pardew era. It's grotesque. How we expect to provide service from Dummett and Gouffran is beyond me.
hakka
It looks like Rafa is trying to make the side more balanced with what he's got. On top dropping the players who have led to conceding goals. Still think we will lose tonight, just can't see any rhythm or drive in that team. Left flank is hideous.
SEMTEX
Fine with all of it apart from Dummett ©. More because that indicates he's not getting replaced anytime soon.
Wullie
We're a hefty 4/6 to concede a goal tonight.

I doubt we're looking to put crosses in with this strikeforce. We've got Richie and Gouffran in there to cut inside and score 100 goals from range. Mole_Toonfan
We are desperate for good players. While we are, even with the squad we have players like Gouffran shouldn't be in the team. They are due to the managers decision not because there's zero alternative.
Guest firetotheworks
That left side, man. Dummett hoofing it, Shelvey strolling about and Gouffran being Gouffran.
Mr Logic
Gouffran ahead of Aarons? Really? First thought that went through my mind when I saw it too. Time will tell if Lascelles needed an arm round the shoulder and some encouragement rather that publicly dropping the Captain. I think/hope it will make him more determined due to his own nature. I'm not going to defend the existence of Paul Dummett, but I don't mind Gouffran. I think he deserves a chance.

Tubestationatmidnight
What happens when we don't sign a left back and a left winger despite having ages to do so. Crying out for a playmaker that team someone to get on the ball between the lines. We have just been plying counter attack kick and rush since cabaye left and we wonder why we can't break teams down who sit back against us
SEMTEX
I wonder if we could find a place for Sissoko in this team?

Guest firetotheworks
Gouffran ahead of Aarons? Really? While I agree on paper, in the little that I saw of the match on Saturday Aarons was really poor. He ran into the player he was taking on at least twice. But yeah, Gouffran. WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Paul McShane playing for them Captaining them. The image of him and Dummett shaking hands in the centre circle is enough to put anyone of football for life.
