Gallowgate Toon
Thinking about it, I'm actually really heartened by the performance. Like it or not, we're going to have days where we're absolutely shite, so seeing players dig in so much against the likes of Bristol City (no offence) is a cracking sign, IMO. KaKa
Gayle is such a natural finisher. That was class.
Ikon
What a great feeling it is on a saturday night like this after a win, especially after an away win. It's pissing down outside and a 12h shift tomorrow. Fuck that i'm on cloud nine now, what a relief it is. Soooo much better than having your weekend totally ruined and being all depressed for days Massive 3 points as well after losing the first two. Figures 1-0 Football
Most reports I've read say Bristol didn't have any clear cut chances was this the case? Aye, we defended really well for once. Clark looked much better at LB, Anita the weakest of the four.
Heake
We gave away far too much possession to a team that, to be fair, didn't have a cutting edge. Having said that, sels only had one save iirc

joeyt
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's our first away win on a Saturday 3pm since Pardew headbutted David Meyler when we beat Hull

Possession of the ball is key at this level, especially when your defending a lead.
Figures 1-0 Football
I'm so out of practice I'm not sure how I'm supposed to be on the way home from an away win.

Mattoon
Fantastic goal, deserving of the win itself, but Sels man, how's he keeping his place in the team?

Bimpy474
Well he hasn't been responsible for any goals yet Very true, like every new player to English football he needs time to settle. I don't like the flapping two hands instead of punching mind.

I don't like the flapping two hands instead of punching mind. He seems to flap at crosses that he should be catching too, I know he needs to settle in but early signs are a bit worrying. Hopefully he'll grow in confidence if Rafa is going to stick with him.
