Rothbury short on quality but what a place to play football Aye had an eye on Wallington for a while. Might look to go early season while the seasonal bus to the Hall is running, make a day of it. Seaton Delaval easy on the Northumberland Line now although I have wanted to do it with Whitley (they often play them in pre-season). Dunno whatever happened with Rothbury doing the work to their pitch. They had a planning application approved to formalise it all with a clubhouse and stuff a few years ago - I presume with the intention to go up through the leagues but don't believe it ever went anywhere. It would be amazing but I can't see anything ever happening. Literally the only flattish part of the site is the pitch, everything else is cut into the hill. Someone said what Benfield did today was embarrassing and called them the scum of the north east. Was a pic of 2 lads people were wanting to identify on there.
