SEMTEX
For the record, you don't need to have the ball in two hands to be "in control". You can control it between one hand/arm and anything else, including the ground. I don't think he was ever "in control" so it's still moot, but I wouldn't have been shocked to see a free kick given. afar
Dunno why we weren't in for Brown in January on loan, he would have been an ideal addition to our central mid and would have covered the Shelvey ban perfectly.
toon25
Can't lose our grip on this. First game in a while where we've looked in control.

Mick
I really hate Colback like, but defensively him and Shelvey have done the job that's been asked of them so far. One of those rare opportunities where the game plan overrides the glaring faults in his game. I'm not sure what Colback has done other than a few mistimed tackles and avoiding the ball. Blocks some space off albeit not very effectively.
Flip
I fully admit I was wrong about Murphy. Me too. Playing the lone striker role in exemplary fashion You were wrong about Clark, too. And you said Gouffran would be the Messi of this league. I hope one day you open your library of N-O poster dossiers to the public

Kanj
If a goalie can run and catch your strike, it's not that threatening.
Mick
Blocks some space off albeit not very effectively. He takes up positions and rarely adjusts his position when the ball moves.
afar
They need to stop play Rugby on this field or invest more in the playing surface, if they get promoted. It's a terrible pitch.

Mike
Can we take Colback off and not risk a 2nd yellow? Or would we better off with 10 men? Decisions decisions. 3 nil up and a red on 89 mins would be perfect
