It's weird like even though we've been s**** all season i always had this feeling we where gonna win the league cus every time we seemed to slip up Brighton dropped points as well, then after that Sheffield Wednesday game i deffo thought that Brighton are gonna win it and i was just content with getting promoted !!! Now they threw away a 7 point lead.... 2 weeks ago i said that Brighton deserve to win the league cus they have played the best football and they have deffo been the most consistent !.... But f*** it were playing some good stuff the last couple of games and they have been rubbish since they got promoted so let's go for it and seen what happens really excited about Sundays match now !!! Hope to God it'll be a special day !!!  Going for a 4-0 !!!

Don't understand this 'we've been shite all season' played some good stuff at times and broke the club record for away wins!

They just took the piss when they came back on and neither team tried to play.

Done a stellar job of 'maintaining the integrity of the competition'

Eight minutes they did that.

I want to know why, I know its only 8 minutes, but why not actually play the game?

Guessing the players/managers agreed the result was already decided and/or they didn't agree with playing the rest of it behind closed doors.

I'd imagine it would be hard to motivate the players after a long stoppage with nothing to play for either team.

Totally agree with ye pal ! But for me i feel since Blackburn ended are winning streak in November some performances and results have been very poor !!! Saying that if we win the league it'll be deserved ... The table never lies !!! Anyways i didn't mean to post that comment on this thread ! Was gonna do it in the Barnsley match thread so take no notice of me lads

Vindication for sacking Claudio? Or still outrageous?

Difficult to say.  Think it showed the situation behind the scenes wasn't right though.

They haven't changed much tactically, it's just that the players are much more motivated since him leaving. Impossible to say how much of that is on the players and how much is on Ranieri.

They have changed tactics slightly, they went back to being very compact as a unit where earlier in the season they weren't like that.

They were on a dangerous slide under Ranieri, you can argue the players didn't give a shit and that's wrong but the reality was they were heading towards relegation.

I think the right decision was made, although i'm not particularly convinced Shakespeare is the right answer. He probably deserves a chance but at the same time you could see him struggling very easily.

Big call to make.
