Allardyce did a good job in the end at Palace like, just like he did at Sunderland. De Boer is trying to get them to play like Ajax which you can't do when you have players such as Martin Kelly starting for you Why on earth they went for De Boer I'll never know. You don't do that unless you are happy to change the whole team and back him to do so. These current players have been drilled in the direct game and are not able to follow the instructions to play the ball. You can see De Boer is bewildered by it when he talks about his team.
