Tiresias
When you're denied a pen, they score an offside goal and you miss a sitter and you still can't complain about receiving a hammering

Unbelievable
Phil Neville thinks De Bruyne is 'becoming' world class. Aye, the lad has "potential" apparently.
Figures 1-0 Football
Of course a terrible 1-0 played out by two terrible teams is ahead of us on MOTD. Cant wait for our 3 minute slot and for them to analyse the midweek Champions League games after rather than discuss how well we played.
Dave
To be fair, City took a bit of a punt on him at just £55million.
Tiresias
De Bruyne's habit of perfectly weighting every pass is actually insane.
Infinitely Content
Southampton played some good football at the beginning of this game and then it kind of balanced out. Reckon Palace will start to look a bit more solid under Hodgson but I personally feel they have a lot of poor players for this level. Relegation favourites their fans seem to think. Guest firetotheworks
Does anyone else find Redmond really annoying? He'd do my head in if he played the way he does for Southampton for us.

Dave
Weren't Liverpool absolutely shite last season when Mane was missing at the AFCON?
Tiresias
Liverpool's defence is terrible. And they haven't fixed it, and they got rid of Sakho who looked good cos of some weird personality clash.
KaKa
Yeah, they really missed him. Shouldn't be as glaring now though as they have Salah. The key is their atrocious defending. That Klavan guy is actually worse than Lovren. It's unreal. None of them are very physical or tough. Just awful.
Tiresias
I also remain unconvinced by Henderson in midfield, they don't hold onto the ball that well, push really high and expose themselves to comic defending.

Zero
Strange to say but I am glad we get Joselu rather than Abraham. He is too raw. Looks like he's been playing pretty well to me From the little I've seen of both, he's a better centre-forward like and has huge potential. The Chelsea fella that is. Potential wise yes, but as a short term option Joselu is much better. His positioning and holding up plays are more "polished". Abraham has potential to be as good as Michy Batshuayi but he won't join us permanently so who cares?
Mole_Toonfan
Starting to think klopp as manager isn't all that tbh. Nah they wouldn't be anywhere near CL spots with most other managers, front 3 aside their team just isn't very good.
joeyt
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05gb005 - Angry 'scouser' rant. Do find it strange that Liverpool put all their eggs in one basket with van Dijk instead of having a backup plan so they're not relying on Lovren/Klavan
