TRon
Highlights: http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/10821106/newcastle-2-1-wigan That was a good cross from Diame for the first goal. Ando and his mate made it sound like a fluke.
triggs
There was only going to be one winner today, we gifted them their goal and they took it well. They missed a very good chance after their goal didn't they?
Altamullan
Highlights: http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/10821106/newcastle-2-1-wigan Great skill by Atsu, towards the end. Surely a penalty denied for trip on Ritchie??
TRon
Ritchie's vendetta against corner flags has been a highlight of this season. it has. He launched that one nearly out of the ground.
Ronaldo
Didn't the radio say Gouffran helped the ball on for Gayle's goal? He was absolutely nowhere near it.
Tiresias
Not a great match but hopefully we can get some momentum back
Ikon
Pretty good goal from Ritchie. Not as easy as it may have looked. Good anticipation

Mick
They missed a very good chance after their goal didn't they? Was that where we had loads of chances and we failed to put a tackle in?
U2
Lascelles was appalling for their goal. Sunday league after a proper sesh levels of shitness. Still, he will go again.

Wobblegob
Love that second goal from Ritchie, proper old fashioned follow-through, love his enthusiasm, enjoy these times cos harder ones will follow. fuck sunderland.
Mick
Lascelles was appalling for their goal. Sunday league after a proper sesh levels of shitness. Still, he will go again. Lascelles had a really poor game and Hanley looks like he has lead boots on and had a couple of metres on the attacker who got to the ball a couple of metres ahead of him. Watching Lascelles is like watching something off Laurel & Hardy, he's comical at times.

TheInfiniteOdyssey
Was it a pen then on Ritchie, looked clear-cut from up in the Gallowgate? That left side though jesus christ, Dummett and Gouffran played like they were handicapped today. Thought the decision to take Diame off was totally baffling, unless he picked up a knock or whatever. xLiaaamx
Colback's lazy sticking out his leg to try intercept the ball in the build up to their goal, rather than just running on to it, is funny.
Guest chopey
Just back from the match we have a lot of players in terrible form which means we are very agricultural looks like we will limp over the line
duo
Was it a pen then on Ritchie, looked clear-cut from up in the Gallowgate? Looked nailed on pen to me. Ref was shockingly poor - never gave us anything all game. He was right behind Shelvey he was getting his shirt pulled but gave nothing.

HaydnNUFC
Wasn't great but I'll take 2-1 wins from now to the end of the season. Refereeing is fucking atrocious, both for Ritchie's penalty and their player pulling on Shelvey's shirt when we were breaking towards the end of the game. Don't know if anyone else who was at the game saw this, but after the penalty non decision, the coach who coaches our set pieces, Mikel Antia and the Wigan manager had a small fight on the touchline. Guest neesy111
This limping over the line is very bad news if we don't overhaul the squad in the summer.
AyeDubbleYoo
Was more comfortable than the scoreline suggests, thought it was decent except the very start. Obviously we don't attack that fluently but we put together a handful of good moves. Not a game you could use to criticise Rafa's approach. I was at the opposite end but the penalty looked a good shout.
Parsley
This limping over the line is very bad news if we don't overhaul the squad in the summer. It's normal at this stage of the season. Obviously agree that the squad needs a lot of work if we go up.
duo
All I care about is 3 points atm - which we got and Huddersfield lost so all in all - good weekend.
