Never lacked the physical attributes, but has often lacked the mentality to be a top player. 

 

Can be a frustrating watch sometimes when you know he has the ability to do things like that run 2nd half or when he smashes in the odd goal from 25 yards. 

But then most of the time make strange odd sessions in the final 3rd.

 

It is what it is at this point. We've done well to get as much use as we have out of him considering how useless he seemed early on. Not his fault we have failed to upgrade his position for so long.

lack of a striker affected him. at times he wasnt sure what kind of ball to play, but he did manage a couple of great crosses begging to be out away.

Why the fuck are we playing him as a pseudo inside forward where he barely gets to do the one thing he is decent at: Crossing. Baffling.

One superb cross all game and that's basically the only thing he done. Think he made Tripper look worse as well because he didn't offer an out ball.

The reality of the two players is that they are both decent bench options to run at tired defences but not good enough to be regular starters. So you start Miggy and bring on Murphy I think he'd look better as Miggy has worn out the defenders a little. Start Murphy and it's visa versa.
