Imagine playing so long with a RW who had no right foot, couldn't cross or shoot but could run and smile all day.

And people still love him because he runs around a lot, the amount of times he's cost us games by his lack of ability and effectiveness was incredibly annoying, Murphy is showing just how much a difference having someone half competent on the right does.

People do tend to be fond of players who really do try, aye.

Tino or Tonali probably. But I guess scoring 2 goals is a good enough reason to give it if nobody stands out

Danny Murphy gave it to Tino on talksport

Tonali allowed us to be sloppy as fuck. Lost count of the amount of times he ended their attacks. It reminded me of my kickabouts in the garden with the dog (the dog is Tonali).

You could have made an argument for selling him in the summer as his valuation will have peaked this season, but he's probably now considered a key squad player even if we do sign a RW. For all his poor touch at times, he does a lot of things well. He can cross, he can shoot with both feet, and as he showed yesterday, he will get on the end of crosses at the far post, something a lot of more fancy wingers sometimes forget is part of their job.

Can we have (He’s shite) or something in the thread title so people can stop being so utterly desperate to point it out, regardless of what even happened in the match?

His 1st touch is quite often hilarious, he was even laughing about it in his interview. His 2nd touch on his 2nd goal was pure panic meaning he had no choice but to whack the ball with the outside of his foot. Fortunately, he got that bang on, as he did for his 1st goal.
