HaydnNUFC
Send Kenedy back and get Drinkwater in for half a season and we might stay up. Would prefer RLC but doubt Chelsea would let him go. We need attacking upgrades/options. Drinkwater isn't really one.
Robster
It was under Rafa where he hit the best form of his career last season (why am I responding ffs) The best way to keep him quiet is to ask him who he wants in to replace Rafa. He always goes strangely silent then.
Odear
Of course we can send him back. Same way that tin pot Czech team sent Rolando Aarons back to us. But currently I’d nearly play him instead of Kenedy.. at least he’s actually our player and he seems like a decent lad! Just devoid of confidence thanks to injury and a manager who has no faith in him. When you’re in the cold with Rafa, you’re basically in nothing but a pair of keks waiting for a taxi in the North Pole.. on New Years Eve. It’s a long walk back.. Guest neesy111
Same way that tin pot Czech team sent Rolando Aarons back to us. Wrong. His loan ended as Czech season has finished.
Odear
Same way that tin pot Czech team sent Rolando Aarons back to us. Wrong. His loan ended as Czech season has finished. It hasn’t finished, it has a winter break. They return to play at the end of this month/start of February. 19 games into a 30 game season... His loan was cut short. Benwell Lad
Best piece of business we did in the summer window (and despite what's been said there were a couple of decent bits) was resisting the clamour to break our transfer record on this fella. AyeDubbleYoo
I’m sure Mike had to try really hard to resist that.
Benwell Lad
I’m sure Mike had to try really hard to resist that. you bet. Like many I'd have paid the fee to get him permanently after last season, but wisdom in hindsight and all that....
AyeDubbleYoo
I guess if you never make any signings you can never make a mistake. Quite clever really.
Benwell Lad
I guess if you never make any signings you can never make a mistake. Quite clever really. In the summer had fans had a vote on making any signing from a list of him, Dubravka (permanent), Fernandez, Schär, Ki, Muto and Rondon (loan) he'd have probably been top. Six months later he'd probably be at the other end
Guest reefatoon
He has been frigging awful like, but they all have. Everyone seems to just be going through the motions this season.
St1pe
I hope he’s fit for the weekend. He can hit levels Atsu and Murphy can’t and if we’ve got any chance of staying up it’ll be by getting him and Perez to play to there potential.

Dinho lad
I still think he's a good player and I'm of the opinion the fact we didn't sign him permanently and seemingly wouldn't is responsible for this downturn in form It's more probable that he's crying like a baby because Chelsea didn't want him (especially, in his mind, most probably, after his 'amazing' performances last season) and that he has to stay at Mike Ashley's NUFC for a year longer; let alone sign permanently. That or he simply wasn't that good anyway (Or a combination of both). Save the lame excuses for HBA.
