Still remember that era being around the time Gretna were flying up the leagues, bankrolling a charge to then it all end in tears.

Just looked, and they qualified for Europe when in 1st Division :D Can’t remember the striker they had who scored like 40+ each season.

Wasn't he a doctor too. Name escapes me though.

Just searched, it was Kenny Deuchar. Canny prolific like.

Tony Bloom-ball on a watered down version up at Hearts. Braga the most expensive signing since 2007. Club record is still John Robertson from Newcastle when they gave us the money back that we paid for him for around £800k.

I'm sure Bloom is something to do with my Scottish team's (Dunfermline) new owner, James Bord*. Maybe they both work at Gamdom?

*Bord not Bond lol.

Even my team, Dunfermline, spent 650‐750 on a player once. Istvan Kozma, in the 90's. We eventually sold him to Liverpool but he didn't get near their first team. He was a legend for us though. His highlight was 3 (unfortunately unfilmed) brilliant goals against St Mirren.

That crazy spending was the beginning of our descent into administration.

90s was amazing for random overseas transfers in Scotland. Rousset to Hearts, Sauzee to Hibs, Gilhaus playing for Holland at Italia 90 while an Aberdeen player, etc.

Rangers had some belters, too - Jorg 'the hammer' Albertz, Laudrup and Gazza the Italian. Honourable mention to Paolo Negri. Think he had nearly a goal to game ratio.

Caniggia to Dundee as well. Didn't last long before Rangers snapped him up he was ridiculously too good for them.

Random fact and probably a Giggs, our former player Daniel Cordone was booed & jeered in Brazil playing in a Brazil v Argentina "legends" game, as they tried to pass him off as Caniggia and the fans sussed straight away.

An exchange of cunts, this has to take place on a bridge somewhere with both players wearing hoods with their hands tied

Is Mike McGrath single handedly trying to get Rashford a transfer to Barca?

If he keeps saying it, even Barca might believe they want him and make an offer.
