remember when he was linked with Barcelona

Think he was linked to us as well, when he went to Fulham. 30m wasn’t it? What a waste of money.

The Frenkie De Jong saga is going to go on all summer. Man U fans will need support if Ronaldo and De Jong end up at Chelsea. [emoji38]

They didn't depend on Zaha as much last season compared to others.

He scored 6 more goals than Gallagher (8), netting 14 in 31 starts. They did spread the scoring around a bit, but if Conor Gallagher doesn't come back and Zaha leaves, they're fucked.

True, however with Gallagher gone, if Zaha was to go they would have lost over 60% of their goals or assist from last season

That's Palace lower down the table, if true. He's a snide cunt, but easily their best and most attacking player (dat fret).

I couldn't disagree more. Zaha is quite easily replaceable IMO.

As a matter of fact Eze will be fully recovered from his injury next season and will nicely slot into that left side with Olise on the other.

I think Eze will easily match Zaha's output. Most seasons Zaha typically had pretty mediocre goals or assists totals.

Would be a smart move to get a bunch of money for him as he goes into his thirties.

Only issue is, is that they would have lost both Gallagher and Zaha, and between the two of them they account for 20 of Palaces 50 goals last season, and it's a hard job trying to make up 40% of your attacking threat...

Palace will struggle next season I reckon. Hope they go down tbh. Can't stand the cunts

Eze is going to score 14 goals, @KaKa mate? There's potential there, but he's not on Zaha's level.

I'm sure they'll bring in replacements though. Zaha is not irreplaceable at all.

Yeah, think they have enough quality to stay up, assuming they keep Zaha and Eze can replace Gallagher's goal output. I don't mind them, their fans seem okay, even if they took issue with PIF.

To Palace in their current state? He's essential and unless they find someone of equal quality, they're fucked if he leaves.

You act as though Zaha was scoring 14 goals every season, but he didn't. That us his best total ever. And yet Palace still survived when he didn't manage that sort of output.

I think Eze will get a lot more assists and will still score a decent amount himself. I rate him far more than Zaha. He just needs to stay fit and get a run of games in the first team. Eze's general play will open up far more opportunities and chances for the team on whole in general IMO.

They're really not. This isn't Hodgson's Palace. Vieira is really good and knows what he's doing.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Zaha's best output was under Vieira, and it's no coincidence either that Gallagher did so well under him.

He'll get decent replacements in. It's not as if they stayed up by the skin of their teeth last season. They were 13 points clear of the relegation zone and just one point behind us in 12th place.

It is very risky though if they go into next season without the players that provided 60% of the teams goals last season

You act as though there's no other players out there, or that the other players they have will just down tools.

I think Eze and Olise step up next season, and even Edouard should be better going into his second year at the club. I don't think they suddenly fall off completely. No chance.

I don't think people are saying that at all, they could obviously replace him and be fine people, people are just saying that losing someone who you know contributes to a fair percentage of your creativity and has been a sure fire way of creating goals for the past half a decade, and then relying on a player who just came back from a ten month layoff is a risk that could very easily back fire.
