I’m so bitter about this

Me too, I have been keeping as busy as possible and day dreaming a bit. Its about this time I start looking forward to our friendlies, 5 mill players and loan signings. A bit of a void at the minute.

I think it’s worse because Rafa drew me back in. The club was dead behind the eyes before he came and Rafa reanimated the corpse and showed us what we already knew about it’s potential if things were done right. Feels somehow worse now than it was before when I was cheering us losing to get rid of that clown Pardew and his travelling circus.

Will always remember that comment about what his daughter said to him when we got relegated... "how can you leave these people? They love you"

He loved us too, but he is a man of pride and integrity.

Fuck you Ashley.

The bloke has a level of integrity and pride that the likes of Richard Keys can only dream of, remember he has just turned down £115,000 a week to manage us because it wasn't the right thing to do.

Part-excited, part-heartbroken for tomorrow's statement.

For me, he was more about hope, ambition and potential rather than actual achievement, as I'm sure many managers out there could get this set of players to 15th-17th. Rafa gets the club, he gets the fanbase and it was great to finally stop hating the manager.

For all we know, he's waiting for the takeover before returning back. Or he'll take another job but eventually make a comeback. So, for the moment, goodbye and thanks for briefly hooking me back in.
