Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

 Is it that easy to get something "doing the rounds"? Bash out out a few sentences of shite on a Google doc and take a photo of your screen?

Yup

They always become 'hit n run' posts too, so the ITK poster will disappear for a number of hours/days and it'll become forgotten about

We understand that Ashley arrived back in the UK on Tuesday after a holiday in the US and negotiations with Staveley and PCP Capital Partners will continue, although there is little chance of a deal being completed before the end of next month.

He hasn't been away for long on his 'holiday'. A matter of days? :???:

'Not a bullshitter' always features somewhere. Ah right, that's okay then.

That's a fair point. Having read his posts for years, it's how I see him but I get your point.

Here's his original post (just to show I'm not trying to be ITK...just wanting it to be true, really. )

If that's true, we are fucked, no way he'll invest anywhere near the amount of money we need and Rafa will just get more and more disgruntled the closer we get to the end of the window, he'll not want another relegation on his CV, however out of his control either were. Rafa will be gone before he's booked a table for two for valentines, if this is anywhere near the truth.

Are there any ideas as to who will run the club and what their ambitions might be going forward if and when the thing is concluded? Genuine question, since there were quite a few epic clusterf@cks after some of the more long-awaited takeovers in English football. Hope you guys get a decent owner, this Ashley character makes some of our fantastic chairmen look like experts
