SEMTEX Posted Tuesday at 14:24 Share Posted Tuesday at 14:24 Al Shabab manager going to Wolves. Wonder if that will affect this potential tranny.

One of the top 3 GKs in World football atm IMO. His save from Bruno's shot in the CL is probably one of the best saves I've seen live. Outstanding GK. Ben Posted Wednesday at 21:29 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:29 Better than Pope this season ?
54 Posted Wednesday at 21:33 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:33 He's not been tested in any way that he's fallible yet, but by god I forgot how much I preferred his distributions to Pope's.
Shearergol Posted Wednesday at 21:34 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:34 Good save that though
Aiston Posted Wednesday at 21:42 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:42 Good save in the 1v1 and he was excellent with his feet, started off a lot of our dangerous attacks as well. Let down a bit for the goal, deserved a clean sheet.
Jordan Posted Wednesday at 21:58 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:58 Looks to be starting a bit higher off his line last couple games. Should have got a clean sheet tonight but nothing he could do with their goal.
alexf Posted Thursday at 01:04 Share Posted Thursday at 01:04 Some really nice little chipped passes into midfield tonight which when contrasted to the normal Pope distribution was actually quite nice to see. Still sticks to his line too much compared to Pope though, and with our slow backline, it might cost us a couple of times again like it was last year during Popes injury. So far so good but a couple of tame shots will trickle past him soon enough. Made a good save toward the end tonight but thought he should have been out sooner and swept up. McDog Posted Thursday at 01:20 Share Posted Thursday at 01:20 Is that Saudi rumour still making the rounds? Seems silly to see your backup keeper whilst the first choice is hurt.

I rate Pope but he certainly could be upgraded. Doubt that would be a January priority unless Pope is more injured than they are saying.

The way they talk about trippier being sold last January....in the middle of the worst injury crisis

Would prefer to see funds spent elsewhere (if there’s even any available) I know it was an FFP favour for Forest but the Greek must look fucking dire in training. Aiston
Might not be against the best opposition but his ability with the ball has really helped us, look much more comfortable at the back passing it about and Dub's mid to long range passes are always pretty close or bang on one of our players instead of gifting away possession. CPL
Done well since he has come in and made a crucial save when it was 1-0. Nice distribution and good to not panic when we pass it across the backline via the goalkeeper. The next few games will be the real test against better opposition. ponsaelius
It was the same when he came in last season TBF. There's no doubt he's better with the ball at his feet than Pope, and it does help our possession game. It's just once he starts facing shots regularly that any benefit from that is completely wiped out. Edited 14 hours ago by ponsaelius
Ronson333
His starting position has improved, sweeping up much better this season.

It is fine in games that we dominate and like recently, when we’ve scored early. He has only really had two decent saves to make since coming in though. So it is when teams actually start having chances that I will worry a bit.
jackyboy
Much better with the ball at his feet. Probably because he used to be an outfield player so he's comfortable with the ball
