Ashley17 Posted Saturday at 23:00 Share Posted Saturday at 23:00 He's barely had to make a save of note during this run in the team but his distribution has been massive in helping us retain control in games. Trafford is good with his feet but I seem to remember him being a bit of a disaster on set pieces as he's not the biggest build.

Trafford has a very "first season at Man Utd De Gea" vibe about him. 22 is very young for a keeper though and he's got time to bulk up a bit of that's what he needs. Paully Posted yesterday at 00:21 Share Posted yesterday at 00:21 I know I’m his biggest fan, but the difference - wow. His distribution is superb and the whole back line look settled.

Holloway Posted yesterday at 00:25 Share Posted yesterday at 00:25 His distribution is very similar to Martinez, accurate chips to the fullbacks on the byeline, it's a good watch
McDog Posted yesterday at 00:28 Share Posted yesterday at 00:28 8M isn't that much and he is a decent keeper in the best league in the world. He's been pretty good since Pope went down. I'm not sure 8M is crazy based on what the buying team needs.
duo Posted yesterday at 00:31 Share Posted yesterday at 00:31 As much as I have critised Dubs in the past since he's come in we seem to have a much more settled back line. Pope hasn't looked the same player this season, so I wouldn't be selling him even for £8 mil. We need to keep the team as settled as possible. Holloway Posted yesterday at 00:53 Share Posted yesterday at 00:53 🧤 Martin Dubravka discussing his time at Newcastle United and his future : "Nobody has spoken to me about a contract extension yet, so I feel my phase is slowly coming to an end. I'm going to take it a bit more emotionally because seven years at one club is a long time Everybody knows me here, I know everybody here. My children were born here. If it has to end, I will accept it. What else is left for me. But it won't be an easy departure."
St1pe Posted yesterday at 08:19 Share Posted yesterday at 08:19 This is going to sound petty (because it absolutely is) but he was one of my favourite ever keepers for us until he spat his dummy out about being no2 then twerked as hard as he could to sit on Man u’s bench instead. Left us weaker in the process and stuck some instagram story on the same night cheering his new team on. I lost a lot of respect for him from that point on. Like it was mentioned above he’s been solid since he’s covered Pope but he hasn’t had to save anything that anyone wouldn’t have expected. If anything it shows the importance having a keeper than can play out a bit more and highlights if we want to be one of the top sides Pope likely needs replacing. I won’t forgot how much of an upgrade it felt when he took over from Darlow but if we can get a fee for him in January he’s got to go.
BoSelecta Posted yesterday at 08:35 Share Posted yesterday at 08:35 If he’s going to Saudi I hope we push it (the fee) as far as we can get away with. Need to start taking the piss like Chelsea have.
Menace Posted yesterday at 08:39 Share Posted yesterday at 08:39 Good luck to him. Mamardash would've been perfect for us and I hope I'm wrong about Trafford in the long term.

ponsaelius Posted yesterday at 10:44 Share Posted yesterday at 10:44 (edited) 8 million would be an absolutely incredible deal in the circumstances. It won't be anywhere near that, be more like 800k ala the Shelvey sale. Edited yesterday at 10:44 by ponsaelius

I love how some players who want to play football are treated as ‘spitting their dummy out’ for wanting to leave because it inconveniences us, and yet we castigate the likes of Almiron and Fraser for being happy to sit on the bench and not also wanting to leave to play football Edited yesterday at 12:02 by jonny1403

Not true at all. He left because Man United were in Europe, had a lot more games to play and he’d been told he was going to be their cup goalkeeper. He’s said the same himself.
