Apparently 18,000 season tickets sold.

Not sure that will even cover Cattermole & Rodwell's wages

It doesn't get near.

They have massive overheads in every department and while the new duo talk the talk they won't ever be able to cover the operating losses a genuinely rich bloke like Short could.

Interesting that their initial bravado about getting rid of Rodwell, Cattermole etc has now changed to them saying they can somehow afford to keep them. Yeah but at what cost to the rest of the club ?

It's quite amazing that so many Sunderland fans are swallowing what these non league chancers are peddling them without questioning it.

Apparently 18,000 season tickets sold.

So with all the hype, the feel good factor with a new owner and manager, not to mention the huge price cuts and virtually free kids tickets they've lost 4000 season ticket holders compared to last season.

"Our fans."

"We have the best fans in the world. No other club in world football would get our attendances after the shit we've been through"

"Not one single Mag i know goes to the match, but every single massive lads fan i know, goes to the game."

FTM.

Ndong close to joining Torino for £6.6m, with £3.75m McNair bids turned down.

Looks like they'll bring in quite a bit from sales - spend even a fifth of that and they'll fly back up. Bastards.

They still owe about treble that in transfer fees

How the hell did they get 6.6 for nDong ? That daylight robbery. Torino are stupid.

It's less than half what they paid for him - another transfer market success story

He wasn't worth half of what they paid and has gone significantly downhill from there.  He wasn't very good in a team that finished bottom of the champo, in the first half of the season, then went on loan to a PL club but never played a minute, lol, what Torino see in him for that price is beyond me.

So they paid a fortune for a load of dodgy merchandise which they then sold on Gumtree for a fraction of the cost and are currently congratulating themselves on a good bit of business  :idiot2:

It can only happen in the world of mackem logic

Have you noticed this front they are all putting on like they have won relegation and everything is ready for lift off

It's cos we are all laughing at them and they are trying to not to look bothered to us, it's so blatant it's fucking hilarious

They are so full off shit.

Tbf the vast majority of mags find it impossible to construct a sentence about football without mentioning attendances

https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/18-000.1432898/page-25

They seem to hate it when we mention attendances but will quite happily start a thread praising "our fans" after every single game, no matter how many empty seats were on show.

It's also a bit ironic that he says the above in a thread about them having sold 18,000 tickets.

"Our fans, brilliant"

In their case I think it goes back to their insitence that all of our support suddenly appeared in 1992. They remind me of the Queen in Alice in wonderland who could believe six impossible things before breakfast.

For a team of failures that finished bottom of The Championship RTG are hoping for some pretty handsome transfer fees for League One players. They’ll have to contribute to get some of that lot off their books. They seem to be expecting decent sides to want their failures and pay £5M or so for the privilege. Their best bet is to hope that some foreign team steps in for some of them and haven’t seen them play for the last 2 years.

The players that are worth anything didn’t play for SAFC last year, they were out on loans.

They're just getting weirder by the day.

At any other football club it's just taken for granted that when a new manager comes in he brings his own people and current coaches depart, or when a 37 year old overpaid and past it centre half's contract expires he will also depart.

Not down there. This has only happened due to the revolutionary new approach being taken by the Don.

It's quite amazing how much they've been taken in by this pair of non league snake oil salesmen.
