This wasn’t an innocent bit of fun with a lass assumed to be older or some two-way mutual relationship between the two. He knew it was wrong, he knew she was underage and he knew the consequences, but still actively preyed on a young girl, a child. And SAFC knew about this and still employed and played him and even after the guilty conviction, lots of SAFC fans defended him or made excuses for him, and the club of course. He’s not going to go around raping bairns or even teenagers so he’s not that kind of nonce or rapist, but he’s shown he’s attracted to teenage girls and to engage them sexually, is willing to groom them. As the girl was 15 it’s safe to assume that she was well into puberty. He’s actually an ephebophile. That’s not to say that what he did wasn’t wrong, it was.
