Geordie Ahmed
I quite like the Don after watching STID. Same, wanted to dislike him but couldn't really, he was very naive but seemed like his heart was in the right place Methven was a massive prick though
Dokko
https://www.scunthorpe-united.co.uk/news/2020/april/club-statement/ Seems like the Don doesn't want to be their hero anymore.. Also surely indicates a sale is not on the horizon.. Scunny fans glad he’s gone. One of methvans mates Was on the board of the efl panel which ratified the Donald buyout of the club. Relegated and failed at every club he’s been at Named J Rodwell First comment is someone wants to buy the club but vaulted at the asking price. They are taking this very well. BergenMagpie
https://radio.nrk.no/podkast/heia_fotball/nrkno-poddkast-23771-141294-23082018075200 Probably not many Norwegian speakers here, but this is a funny football podcast where they had invited a guy to talk about his experiences from studying in Sunderland for this episode. He mentions one memory from his first days in town where he saw a family of four (all wearing tracksuits) on the Wearmouth bridge. They had brought a bag of garbage which they threw into the river, then they all ran to the opposite side to watch the garbage come floating down. Typical Sunday family activity in Sunderland

Scoot
They're absolutely devastated by this takeover. Never knew Sunderland had so many human rights activists It makes you wonder why though. I mean, they've told us how good an owner Mike Ashley is for years. Surely they should be delighted to see him leave?
