Dave
Don't see this being as one-sided as some may expect. 1-0.
Nobody
Is Merino made of glass? thought it was a class cameo against Everton, would've liked to see him feature in this game.
Varadi
Don't see this being as one-sided as some may expect. 1-0. I watched their games against Man Utd and Liverpool and they played some canny stuff, Darren Moore is setting them up quite attacking and they're just going for it - think this will be a close game. STM
So nice watching us with the pressure off. I'm certain that Murphy will start, possibly someone random like Manquillo too.
Andy84
Good thing is they have to win, it really is utterly pointless them coming to sit back. I think they’ll go for it and we seem to do alright against these teams. 2-1 to us
samptime29
I think it will be a tough game. West Brom seem stronger under Moore (can't argue with 4 points from Man U, Liverpool). Our home form is really good atm though, Howay lads get the 3 points!
morla84
Classic end of season pre match thread, everyone already got their flip flops on
HaydnNUFC
Hope there's no taunting their fans if they go down today. Usually it's just the chavs in L7 next to the away fans but they won't be near them today due to them only bring up about 1200. WBA fans are a canny bunch. morla84
Be nice for our third longest serving player to get on the pitch in this or the Chelsea game, so we can thank him for all of his service before he leaves in the summer and say Good bye
Twinport53
Same XI. Gayle back in for Slimani.

Big Geordie
I think it will be fairly tight, today. 1-0 or 2-1 to us. WBA done quite well since Moore took over.

TRon
Knew Slimani would be dropped I thought Rafa would have wanted to have a good look at him to see if he was worth following up on next season.
Varadi
Knew Slimani would be dropped I thought Rafa would have wanted to have a good look at him to see if he was worth following up on next season. Looks like he's already decided
Stottie
I dunno if it was just an off-day or less time on the ball for him due to Everton's pressing, but Shelvey struggled to find Slimani as well as he'd been been finding Gayle. That's only one game's evidence, but it might be something Rafa sees as important in the big picture.
UncleBingo
Off to the match now, trying to think of the last match we had nothing to play for.....haven't been this relaxed in years.
STM
It just shows that Rafa values winning over giving players a "run out." I was convinced that he would give a few fringe players a go but I'm not surprised that he's playing his strongest 11 because he wants to win. Dave
Maybe Slimani isn't as fit as he'd like, or picked up a knock. Maybe Rafa is seeing how he responds to being dropped after a fairly lacklustre performance. Who cares.
