Mole_Toonfan
Luckily they seem to ignore him a lot so he goes long periods without seeing the ball but if we get through Mbappe vs Young would scare the shit out of me tbh.
Sima
Looking forward to claiming we've won the World Cup when Thauvin picks up his medal tbh.
Mike
Christ, it's actually coming home. have they started calling Paris "home" then? nee chance they get through a France side that shows up. “They” This tournament has really shed light on things. "You people" etc etc. I only support teams in blue. Italy, France, Uruguay. You know, cunts. Tommy's Crip ass.
Interpolic
I can't recall ever being more nervous the day before a match like. Maybe before the FA Cup finals in the late 90s but I was 14/15 then. Looking at the tournament tree makes me feel sick.
Guest firetotheworks
Kante always seems to be the silent man of the match, man. Varane probably. I do like a good defensive performance, but I'm not comfortable with teams doing it to win the World Cup, it just feels wrong.

Mole_Toonfan
Aye Varane was the best player for France, they would easily score without him.

Guest firetotheworks
I feel better now than before Sweden, like. I feel quite confident at the moment, but I'm sure I'll be shitting myself tomorrow.

Mole_Toonfan
I was really nervous before the Sweden game because i thought we should beat them so the idea of losing made me feel really nervous. I wouldn't be surprised if Croatia win so i'm a lot more calm.

Yorkie
I feel disappointingly calm about tomorrow. For a start, I'm worryingly confident, but secondly, we've gone so far beyond expectations and had such a great ride that it feels like we can't lose, in a way. Losing to a team like Croatia at this stage would be one of the national team's biggest missed opportunities, sure, but the lads and the manager have done so fucking well man, regardless of what happens now. I was far more relaxed before Sweden than I was Colombia for this reason. Was desperate for us to just not fall at the first hurdle, doing it on pens was even better. Never really felt all that nervous before or during the last match. Suppose now that it's literally one win from the final means that I'll be bricking it like mad tomorrow like. Guest The Little Waster
Tomorrow will be the first time we've played a good team ( discounting the weird Belgium game ) with the added pressure of expectation on a young team . Its experience ( Croatia ) v youthful energy ( England ) . I can only see Croatia winning and if England do lose i hope the media don't do them in . They're still only ( mostly ) a bunch of kids and they have already overachieved getting to a semi final .

I was pretty chilled before Sweden, just thought we'd do it as the previous game was such a psychological breakthrough in many ways. Tomorrow I really think we have an excellent chance but not as confident, so that and the magnitude of the game is shredding my nerves.

Maybe before the FA Cup finals in the late 90s but I was 14/15 then. Looking at the tournament tree makes me feel sick. Derby games make me nervous as hell and I do not enjoy those games whatsoever. Last time I was this nervous and tense about an England game was the ‘98 match with Argentina. What makes me more nervous is that I think we can actually do it, but don’t want to build my hopes up. I couldn’t handle watching it in a pub so will watch it at home tomorrow, just me in my pit with ITV. It’s going to be horrible but potentially great at the same time and that’s just the studio guests and commentary Howay England! France though... I would fear them now in the Final.
