SEMTEX
Just to confirm. Going on holiday or to a wedding instead of going to the match and giving Ashley your money. Standing alongside fellow fans in a planned protest against Ashley for one match instead of going to the match and giving Ashley your money. Sold my ticket when i was on holiday. If i'm here and not at deaths door i'll be at the match. He'll only sell if someone meets his asking price. 1. Sell this one to me and don't go then. 2. ...Or if you're off on holiday. 3. I don't think that's in question. No, i want to go to the match. It's his club and he won't sell it unless someone gives him his price. He tell you that? Guest firetotheworks
Cool. Don't bother making shite excuses about why you're not going on here then if it's clear they're lies and it's simply that you're a fucking scab. Can't bear to not go to the match unless there's something else to go to. A wedding? I'm there! Going on holiday? Count me in! An organised protest against Ashley? Nah fuck that, I have principles! You're a fucking joke.

What a crock of shit. If you don't want to go and support your team that's up to you, but you aren't going to garner much support for a boycott by calling those that do want to support their team scabs. Guest firetotheworks
Fuck off man. You've literally just said you'll not go if you're going on holiday or going to a wedding you fucking liar. Stop pretending it's about 'supporting the team' when you haven't got a shred of it in you if you have every other plan under the sun aside from if there's a boycott and then suddenly it's all about how you have to support the lads. Give me a fucking break. I've got all the time in the world for people who want to go because they genuinely can't bear not going. That's clearly not you though, you're just an utter disgrace. When you have a family you can't plan absolutely everything around the fixture list.

AyeDubbleYoo
Just an example of how different football fans are to other types of customers and therefore how easy they are to take the piss out of. Our club has been absolutely destroyed and people still can’t face missing a game. Definitely people who shop at Fenwicks would stop going if the ceilings were falling in, the food was rotten and there was shit all over the walls. Guest firetotheworks
Aye, because you know that I'm right and you know your 'I need to support the lads' stuff is total and utter bollocks.
HaydnNUFC
I, rightly or wrongly, have a ST. Mainly for personal reasons which I've cited many times before. I usually hate the generalisation of the match going fans mainly on this board but KI is bang on, like. Whether you disagree with the way he's making his point or not. I'm incredibly unhappy with the way the club is being run, been neglected and gone backwards under that cunt at the top, so my seat on the 9th December will be empty. Doesn't mean I'm less of a supporter than anyone else, I don't want us to lose and won't ever while Rafa remains but you've got to be looking at the bigger picture, here. Guest firetotheworks
Fuck Ashley, he's not stopping me putting £600 in his pocket and missing matches when I'm holiday, but still attending when there's a boycott on. Yeah, fuck Ashley! Probably the most stupid logic I've ever seen an NUFC fan talk themselves into.

If you don't want to go , don't go, don't watch it on sky and go and find another hobby, but respect the fact that thousands of other people do want to go and enjoy going. Scoot
Thousands of them out there who cant/wont miss 1 fucking game. I've said it from the start, we'll be lucky if 5,000 do the boycott. Get anymore wins between now and then and It'll be even less.
Guest firetotheworks
Honestly man. I finally, finally got my head around people attending matches during boycotts because it's a routine, it's what they love doing, it's a shared day with your kids or family or whatever, and I was sort of getting there. All this time it turns out that they'll not go if there's a wedding on. Fuck me, man.

Don't pretend your support means a thing.

Whatever man, do what you want it's clearly your decision, but the idea that any of it has anything to do with you supporting the team is ridiculous. You clearly don't get the point though, you seem to think this all begins and ends with whatever money Ashley directly gets for this one match and the attendance means nothing. Even when shown the second hand account that the Spurs boycott shocked Ashley and shown that he then went on to spend money, that means nothing to you.
