Sky reports conflicting this.  Apparently eye witnesses reporting a 'flat spin' causing the crash.  I don't see how a fire would cause the helicopter to stack in sideways.  Mechanical failure, crash, then fire seems much more plausible.

Oh that's tragic man no one should go to a football game and not come home. This reminds me of the Clutha pub helicopter crash in Glasgow. I was due to go to that pub that night with a few work colleagues to see the gig there but we changed our mind at the last minute and went elsewhere
