He's just a body now that's there for depth but should be seeing scrap minutes if we don't get a daft injury crisis.

Come January, should be moved on for whatever sale there is. Doesn't matter if it's £5m, just get gone. The minutes he will end up getting across the season, someone like Sanusi can take up. One thing we need to get better at, slimmer squad, where the fringe minutes is spent on kids.

But I'm sure argument come January will be, we have a chance of Europe, so need to keep the experienced heads. Love the guy, but his time is up and let's not drag it out to a sorry ending.

We turned down £7m in January from the American side. I don't think we are getting money for him now so we need to use him, and he needs to make an impact when he plays.

He’s the number one player of “intensity is our identity”.

Yeah, probably a big factor in the press not being what it was.

With Trippier and Schar's ages and their unique profiles, it was always likely we'd have to transition to something without plug and play replacements for what they give us, but maybe its the case for Miggy too.

He did play well overall. However, Gordon put it on a plate for him but he just could not use the right foot to tap it in

He was very busy, and his general play was better than most on the night. But he still got in good positions then turned back too often instead of going for the jugular. That is a weakness in his game that is not going to be fixed at 30 yrs old.

He’s always been better than Murphy. Murphy can cross a ball and has pace but Miggy is way better at defending, way better at pressing, significantly better at carrying the ball. Miggy is very frustrating because he can’t cross the ball and is desperate to be on his left foot but he’s far more use to us when we’re pressing teams well than Murphy

Genuinely can’t remember this??

EDIT: you’re on about the Wimbledon game. [emoji38]
