Novocastrian
Was on the verge of giving up on him a few games ago, he was ineffectual and running into dead ends. He’s been incredible recently. Workrate is relentless, he’s direct, aggressive and has grown in confidence. I really think he will be the reason we stay up this season.

Infinitely Content
I think I'm in love with him, lads. I was thinking earlier I wonder if he ever loses his temper irl, he seems almost like a puppy infectiously happy guy Yeah, but hands off, okay? Candi_Hills
Has many similarities to Jonas - Signed up to play for a proper manager and got saddled with a muppet shortly after - Always running - Always smiling - Knows how to win a free kick - Isn’t Brazilian
Tiresias
Despite all the negativity really happy that he's finding really good form (and you know in better areas to be able to do anything). I always hate how he was dismissed as a flop after he transformed our offensive game, albeit without finding net much, in that last 6 months for Rafa. He's actually really really good. huss9
Someone said in the match thread he put in two MOTM performances in one game. I think that says it all. If everyone put the shift in that he does we'd be a helluva team. thats the perfect way to put it.
alexf
Shame he wasn't allowed to take the free kick that got schar injured. The way he's playing I had a feeling he'd pop it in the top corner. His last effort clipped the crossbar last game. He's the heartbeat of the team at the mo. Great energy and now got the confidence to start taking more shots etc.

St. Maximin
Considering he’s had a lot of criticism for his end-product, 13 goals in not much more than a year, with a poor manager and team, normally out of his favourite position and at times not picked... isn’t bad at all. And his work rate is still the best thing about him.
huss9
he's never hidden. never let his head drop or sulk when's he's fucked up or when he's been subbed. he's put in full effort every time he's asked to play out of position. never lost his smile and his enthusiasm. he's fucking class. nbthree3
That doesn’t look right, like. Premier League era potentially. All time, it's legit https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/newcastle-united/topTorschuetzen/verein/762 41st (Gayle's 15th, Carroll 16th and Ritchie 24th too!) - according to this particular list anyway
Guest
Ameobi isn’t 3rd for a start. What on earth is that list.
relámpago blanco
I don't think that is legit I just don't think there is a good source for this information. If there is I will find it. Look at the top 50, a lot of them are from the last 15-20 years.
relámpago blanco
Jack Peddie isnt on there for example who scored 20 goals in the 1899-1900 season and went on to score 73 in 125 games for us. Greatest NUFC striker of all time?

All time top goal scorers? Gayle in 15th, Shola in 3rd? Never heard of Jackie fucking Milburn? You know, that dude one of the stands in our stadium is named after? Guest
There’s no Hughie Gallagher or Jackie Milburn for a start. Shearer scored 206 not 198. Supermac scored way more than that as well just as examples.
Disco
How shit would we have had to have been for 13 fucking goals to be top 50. We’ve been playing for 125 odd year.

Infinitely Content
Didn't realise he had such a brutal, impoverished upbringing. Perhaps goes some way to explain why he never sulks and is always so positive and happy. Gratefulness. Edit: "Brutal" might have been a bit strong, he clearly had a loving family who worked their bollocks off, but humble beginnings in poverty indeed, which I suspect is rather commonplace where he's from.
