Yeah, he’s gonna be the next big thing. Unlikely he’ll come to us, especially without CL football. Shame really, as we probably could have got him last summer.

Should have went for him over Barnes imo.

He turned down a move to Villa in the summer as he is happy in Bilbao so that’d been a waste of time.

Playing with his brother, already picked for Spain, and Athletic as good as they’ve been for a while at the moment so you can see why he’s happy enough.

In these little snippets, his change of pace is insane.

So he's primarily a left sided inside winger/forward? With Gordon & Barnes already here, shouldn't we be looking for someone who play on the right if Almiron were to leave?

It appears to look that way with how Bilbao are using him.

I honestly don't know though, it's only hype, tons of sides will admire this type of player.

Info from: totalfootballanalysis

This is aided by his comfort using both feet. There is a uniqueness to Nico's dribbling in that he often carries the ball with his left foot rather than his supposedly stronger right foot. The Spaniard's ambipedal ability is crucial for his dribbling success.4 Oct 2022

He did play on the right in our friendly against Bilbao and terrorised us 2nd half

He played right wing when I went to see Athletic last season. Was class n all although Cadiz weren’t upto much.

Can't believe this disgusting human being won't move his life and family to a completely different continent and culture. He's has no right foot either. Vile.

Will circle back when he runs down his contract and moves back to Atlanta for free

He better start using his fucking right foot if he has screwed us for a ffp windfall.

He has a right not to go to a different country where the culture will be massively different to what he’s used too.

It will be interesting to see if Atlanta do bring him ahead of their new season starting next month.

I was only been half sarcastic ?, to be fair we have a right to expect a professional footballer to work on improving his right foot!.

He was blowing out his arse within 10 minutes of coming on. Likely still suffering with that illness but if he has to play, play him on the left. Hitting crosses early first time like he did for the third could become a real asset for us.
