Miguel Almirón (now playing for Atlanta United)

Recommended Posts

I think he's probably our best player and hopefully the goals and assists will follow soon. At some point they will need to and he needs to replace at least some of Perez's goals.

 he's clearly got the ability, hes been a bit unlucky so far and equally if he was dropped then the whole team would suffer massively.

He's a great outlet tbh, brought the ball out plenty of times under a lot of pressure from the Spurs high press. I thought he linked well with Joelinton as well considering both ended up playing very deep for most of the game.

Hilarious how much skinny foreign fancy dans wind up full English breakfasts like

His post history is something to behold like. It’s like RTG shagged the Express and then shat out a window fetishist.

Love this guy , i hope people dont get on his back over his 'stats' , if almiron scored 10 goals and 10 assists  to go with his workrate over a season hed be worth a fortune.

Remember we only paid 16milion for him.

A relatively cheap signing in the pl these days.

He is an attacking pest in the Suarez, Firminho, Kuyt, Bellamy mold. I have been very impressed with him in the three games of yours I have seen. He definitely needs to score and assist but you cant value his contribution by that alone. If he is made available for 25-30 million in the winter transfer window, I am betting a number of the top 6-10 clubs will bid. I can see LFC being definitely interested. He is a perfect Klopp player.

this is the truth of it, he's playing in a team where scoring opportunities are few and far between if you dropped him into spurs team ahead of son or lucas i don't think he'd look out of place and the goals and assists would come

we're very lucky to have him

If only that class little lob in his first full game for us went in off the post I reckon he would have added a few since then. It'll come for him.

Totally agree with this, I’m fine with him, the fee was run of the mill in the modern game but just happened to be our record signing at the time.

The one touch football in the build then the lob :pedro:

Gutted we only got to see that front 3 for half a season not even that.

The goals and assists malarky is a load of shite, you prove or disprove anything with statistics.

His pace and ability to carry the ball at pace scares the shit out of teams, stretches play and relieves pressure on the defence.

He linked up well with Joelinton on sunday and was a slight deflection away from a goal as well.

Spot on. Brilliant for us at this moment regardless of goals or assists.
