I miss Trippier and Almiron linking up with their 1-2s etc, think it was a big part of how we played when we finished 4th. Our right side looks nowhere nesr as good now with Murphy and Tino (I do rate Tino but Trippier was a notch above imo)

Come January, should be moved on for whatever sale there is. Doesn't matter if it's £5m, just get gone. The minutes he will end up getting across the season, someone like Sanusi can take up. One thing we need to get better at, slimmer squad, where the fringe minutes is spent on kids.

 

But I'm sure argument come January will be, we have a chance of Europe, so need to keep the experienced heads. Love the guy, but his time is up and let's not drag it out to a sorry ending.

We turned down £7m in January from the American side. I don't think we are getting money for him now so we need to use him, and he needs to make an impact when he plays.
