Perez looks a different class to the other forwards we've had on the pitch tonight.

He has come on when Blackburn have tired, and they are not defending him like Prem clubs typically would in that number 10 position.

I only wish at Prem level we would use him upfront or even let him drift in from a wide forward position.

Come Saturday, he'll be getting overcrowded int he middle of the pitch again and getting pushed over, unfortunately.

Our new tactic should be to stick most of our players around the goalkeeper and get Schar to just keep shooting, then whenever the keeper spills, one of the other 9 players hanging around the keeper can just tap it in Stifler style. Can’t believe it hasn’t been done before.

Proper 'going for it' tactics. That should please the Rafa out folk

Feels good to win. Peculiar emotion.

I'm happy for the lads because they put a lot into that, in spite of the painful lack of quality all over the shop. Schar, Longstaff and Perez stand-out performers. Everyone else was either meh or pish.

Love it when Ayoze sticks his fingers up to the haters. He was class when he came on.
