Joelinton: will not play against Everton (Howe)

Recommended Posts

Honestly not a clue what the point of this guy is as a footballer never mind as a striker/40m signing

When hes looked decent its been at a position that his physique is not meant for, he does not possess any qualities that would make him look reliable to provide anything of worth for a quarter of what he cost never mind the fee

Imagine not going for Rondon, a player who not only preformed what Joelinton can do better but actually was able to score goals too

Think the best thing for him now is to be benched for a few games and to come on for the last twenty. If he continues to play from the start and struggle his days here are finished.

Nickson should be held accountable for this, why was he so desperate to sign this guy?

So was Mike though. He was offering to pay for the transfer out of his own pocket apparently, such was his desire for Rafa to agree to it.

Signing Rondon for 16m and spending 24m to strengthen other areas of the squad or buy Joelington for 40m. Then shitcunts like Charney have the audacity to claim we are all about signing quality rather than quantity, bringing in this donkey and players like Krafth who look way out of their depth.

Would like to know what his finishing is like in training, in game situations his whole body language suggests he’s almost scared to score. Sounds daft, everyone wants to score, but there is pressure to take a chance and it becomes almost a relief to miss as that’s the easy thing to do.

Embarrassing twitter and verbal abuse.

But calling it as I see it - he is a very poor player right now. Be it confidence and or execution, he’s very very bad and he’s letting himself, his teammates, his club and the fans down. Needs to sort it out.

Well I would argue that it's the job of the manager to sort it out. If a player isn't performing, you don't need to start him every match. Give him a spell out and get one of your other strikers in. Although none of them are scoring either it has to be said, and with our terrible football, chances are not going to be that easy to come by no matter who starts.

Agree. Bruce has thrown him to the lions. He’s gone from showing a modicum of promise to a car crash of a player. Should have been benched weeks ago. Unfortunately for him (and us) he’s possibly going to be our only attacking option due to Bruce’s training causing injuries/morale issues.

People will always talk about money but i think that needs to be taken out of the equation. As our inspiration would say, "it is what it is" in football.

However, how many of us can't really be arsed if we work for a wank company and under a god awful manager? How many of us just go through the motions ?

This guy is struggling but where is his motivation to help him out of this slump ?
