Joelinton has been pretty much a model professional since being with the club, and has by all accounts done a load of outreach and community work since he joined. He made a crappy mistake, like we all do at times, but that doesn't define him as a person, and one action doesn't change everything before it, so as long as he uses it as a learning moment, and is genuinely remorseful and more importantly owns his mistake, then everything will be kosher. I'm a big believer that how you respond to mistakes is what defines you, everyone slips up every now and again, its natural and human, and so long as no-one gets hurt, what you do to rectify said mistake, is more important then the actual mistake itself. Considering your main gripe seems to be about people posting over the top 'abuse' online (in itself an over the top description imo) about Joelinton's drunk driving, it seems a bit odd to then go over the top with the things you say to someone who has suffered the consequences of drink driving. Had nothing to do with whatever circumstance he has been through, and I'm sorry but you can't just go around taking that stuff out on other people that had nothing to do with it, even if they have been found guilty of a similar action.
