I know mate, not disputing it. Just think it puts more emphasis on the player adapting to the teams need and him doing the job unbelievably well rather than Howe claiming it was his mastermind tactics or whatever. It's the type of guy he is. Anyways all trivial stuff haha

I actually do it the other way round at work and take credit for my accidents - “yeah that was the plan all along”, probably says more about me though.

It’s probably always been there and we just never saw but it’s marked for me how much better he is with the ball at his feet than he was. Confidence plays a big role of course but simply having him face the goal has made a huge difference too.

I always thought he was better with the ball at his feet than he was given credit for tbh. Lovely touch and finish though, worthy of winning any game.
