xLiaaamx
I know we all like him but for me Rondon's nowhere near Remy and Ba

Yorkie
If we're picking players based on the very best stretches of individual form, I think Diame 17-18 is worth a shout at CM. Bloke made Kante looked ordinary for a few months.
Gottlob
I'm not sure that the forwards would ever see the ball in these teams with two deep-lying midfielders and five at the back. If you have Debuchy and Enrique as your 'wing backs', which they're not really, then Cabaye and Tiote in the middle and three up top, there's not much pace and a dearth of options when it comes to carrying the ball up the pitch. I'd go with Disco's team: Krul Debuchy - Lascelles - Coloccini - Enrique Sissoko - Cabaye - Jonas HBA - Ba - Remy feeling that Cabaye offers more balance and creativity than Tiote, wondering whether Perez might offer a bit more than Remy when it comes to linking the midfield and attack. Disco
Half of 17/18. Got booed more than once in the first half of the season by the ever knowledgeable Donnay Army.
morla84
If you watched diame during the first half of that season and knew what was coming in the second, you're more than knowledgeable, you're a fucking wizard. The eagle eyed among you may have noticed I decided to pick one position for each season of the decade. It may not be the season they played their best form, and may not be my overall team of the decade, but it killed half an hour.
Yorkie
Aye I know it wasn't the whole season but it was long enough to be in with a shout, depending on the criteria. He was brilliant.

Guest
Krul, Coloccini & Cabaye 11/12 should 100% be in there. Don’t see how that’s even a debate if we’re doing individual seasons.
Shays Given Tim Flowers
I'd probably go something like: GK) Dubravka CB) Coloccini CB) Lacselles CB) Lejeune WB) Debuchy WB) Enrique CM) Cabaye CDM) Tiote RW) Ben Arfa LW) Perez ST) Ba Subs: Krul, Schar, Dummett, Nolan, Wijnaldum, Ritchie, Cisse Manager: Rafa Benitez This is pretty much it for me. Tough choice between Krul and Dubs, and Schar and Lascelles.
Kanj
I love Krul but I get chest pains thinking of him trying to kick the ball to anyone with accuracy

Happinesstan
Krul Schar Colo Fernadez Lejeune Enrique Cabaye Tiote HBA Cisse Ba Subs: Dubs, Debuchy, Lascelles, Sissoko, Diame, Perez, Rondon Yes, I'd pick Schar at RWB.
Lenny
I like Fernandez, but picking him over Lascelles is a strange one.
Segun Oluwaniyi
Krul, Coloccini & Cabaye 11/12 should 100% be in there. Don’t see how that’s even a debate if we’re doing individual seasons. The individual season that I most clearly forgot to include in my team was Carroll (2010-31/1/2011). Ba was great in 2011-2012, but Carroll was completely unstoppable for a short period of time at the turn of the decade, a dominant force. It is a shame how the rest of the decade went for him. Guest
Surprised at the lack of Perez’s. He was maybe a solid 6.5-7 out of 10 approaching 8 maybe at the end. We’ve had the likes of Ba, Remy, Ben Arfa who were 8s.
AyeDubbleYoo
I can’t separate how much I like/dislike people from how good they are TBH. I’d definitely have Perez in.
Lenny
I assume Perez is a player that everyone considers and then just about cuts out of their first choice 11. At least that was my thought process.
Raconteur
I assume Perez is a player that everyone considers and then just about cuts out of their first choice 11. At least that was my thought process. Yup, my favourite player for as long as I can remember, but I couldn't say he'd force his way into a team past HBA-Remy-Ba. Favourite so rarely means best - unless your favourite is Messi...
xLiaaamx
Mark Douglas has done one, it's predictably pfm like with a 442 and a left side of Dummett and Ritchie. Nolan in midfield.
