KaKa Posted January 18, 2020 Share Posted January 18, 2020 Bruce has been with us for 6 months, you'd think there would be some pattern of play etc by now since he's a fine manager according to some. Our pattern of play is consistent tbf. Give it to Almiron/ASM and hope for the best. Not this game they’re getting hardly anything played to them. Everything is being punted up to Joelinton and coming straight back. Joelinton's won a fair few tbh, he's having a good game so far considering the scraps he's working with. I think we've done ok so far tbh. Joelinton never gets to fin a rhythm in any game as he hardly ever gets touches on the ball in any space without someone snapping at his heels. It's laughable really. Playing upfront for this team is the most thankless job anyone in this league could have currently. So don’t continuously play the ball up to him is the sensible answer I agree. Just pass it straight back to their keeper instead. You could use your midfield if they were not so deep or meaningful balls to your wingers then again it’s Bruce. It's been 23 games ... Bruce clearly has no idea of how to make any of that happen.
