Why don't we give some of the younger players some gametime in the last games?

We have nothing to lose in theese games and it would be a good opportunity to see if thay can play at this level and give them a taste of it.

For example Rose can't play att spurs. Who ever plays lb at the u23s must be given a chance tomorrow.

We also have 5 subs to make during the games. At least 2 of thoose should be youngsters imho.

We have Bruce's bragging rights over Rafa to play for.

Because if they aren't yet good enough, they'd probably get rinsed and everyone would say they were shite. Which doesn't really help anyone.

This has an annoying Bruce fluke win written all over it.

Logic should say Nufc have nothing to play for, and Spurs have a chance for Europe, so comfortable win for them.

This will be an absolute battering football wise, but Dubravka will single handedly save everything while we score with our one shot on target

Dubs doesn't like playing against these though.

No matter...watching this will be like watching prime Barcelona playing against Gateshead

From nufc.com

Definitely out are Isaac Hayden, Sean Longstaff and Ciaran Clark, while on-loan defender Danny Rose is ineligible to play against his parent club.

There are injury doubts over Miguel Almiron, Allan Saint-Maximin, Andy Carroll and Florian Lejeune.

Dier out for them.

That's bad news.

That new contract for Carroll looking a better and better decision each week.

For some reason you sound surprised at the clubs current ineptitude. I'd guess Charnley is still planning on being in charge for a bit, and having been so subservient to Ashley for so long, thinks that saving money by giving Carroll a contract instead of finding a capable striker is cheaper and therefore better.

Which to be fair it is...a player that is always injured on a pay as you play contract will always cost less  ;D.

Alternatively this could be the spiteful action of a man who knows he has no long term future at the club and just wants to make things difficult for his successor, and i don't care what people say about professionalism...this does happen, and Charnley hasn't shown himself to be the best professional going.

Lascelles also out. ASM and Miggy spotted training yesterday.

Guest chopey

This will be a football crime tonight, Bruce trying to sit deep as Jose sits deep with ASM running around like an idiot.

Spurs won't sit deep. They won't have to with 10 of our players standing in their own box for 85/90  ;D

Would absolutely love three points here. I think they're for the taking and I don't give a fuck who our manager is right now. He'll be gone in a month or so.

Three points, always. That's what I want for Newcastle.
