Obviously id rather have Wilson leave and we can't really judge him staying until we see our other signings. However we do have 8 champions league games to play so our squad becomes very important, Eddie loves signing youngins but he takes ages to blood them

But we ended up shifting miggy when Mitchell was in control of sales along with the lad at juventus aswell which name has alluded me. 😂

A lot will come down to if the manager wants to keep the said individuals. But it looks like Mitchell flogged miggy and the lad at juventus as I think howe would've kept them.

If Wilson stays a year as 3rd choice and he’s a good man in the dressing room then so be it. Doesn’t really affect anything.

Where are we getting 3rd choice from? The end of the season suggests he's very much still 2nd choice. It could be a Lewis Hall type situation with Osula, but there's been nothing so far to suggest that Eddie sees him as being a preferred option to Wilson up front.

To be fair though, it's somewhat understandable. The last few windows have justifiably left people skeptical of our work in the transfer market.

He shouldn’t be 3rd choice though should he? It should be Isak, Osula and a new player.

 

Anyway, I think there’s a pretty good chance he doesn’t agree to it, he probably thinks he can still do a job somewhere.

It should be Isak a new player and a 3rd choice. Osula no way can play centre forward in the prem

I don’t think any club has a better 3rd choice striker TBH, especially teams that play one up front. Obvs you wouldn’t expect him to play all that much.

Not at all...it stinks of panic that we cant/wont get any one else in and are hoping we might actually squeeze a few minutes out of a perpetualy injured slowing player....vibes of signing Ian Rush just to have a body there. We genuinely would be better pulling a random from one of the U21 sides....even if they're garbage they might be able to run and be available

Osula might be considered too raw for the PL, but he looked 10x more of a threat in sub appearances than Wilson did.

Yeah fair, works both ways. I still stand by the fact I think giving Wilson an extension makes zero sense.

True, but we aren't Elite yet are we ?  The bullshit PSR rules mean it's a slow drawn out process. 

 

I look at where we are now, and i don't doubt that process any more, i embrace it. It's glorious to what i've seen most of my over 50 years supporting us.
