Don't think it's sentiment at all tbh. We just have a lot of positions to fill in the window and finding a rotation option for Isak is difficult in the market. We'll be seeing if we can keep him around on the mega cheap as a failsafe.

 

I don't agree with it but it's not sentiment. It's trying to navigate PSR as best we can.

 

Think the chances are he'll have better offers from a promoted club or abroad.

Surely low base, high bonuses is a massive risk from his point of view? 

 

He'd be better off taking a step down or 2, or going abroad etc 

 

Even if he played for free, he'd feel like a waste of a bench space imo

He isn’t a rotation option though, he offers nothing.
