Rich Posted Friday at 13:43 Share Posted Friday at 13:43 Seems like he’s now targeting Brum rather than Arsenal based on Howe’s presser. Sigh.

I'd imagine Howe would be looking to play Isak for most of the Arsenal game anyway. Would be good if Wilson could play the first hour of the Brum game, and then sub on Osula or Isak depending upon the game situation.

And then targeting an April return.

Let’s be real, Wilson is going to miss of what remains of the season and then leave us in the summer, whereas Osula has a future here, hopefully. If he can get back fit, it’s to come off bench as an experienced head (but probably do something stupid again like last time and rip his tit muscle) or to chase a goal and a poacher required. 'Callum is getting there. We have seen him in training this week. He's not been involved in all of the session but part of it. There is no plan to involve him this week but (there is a) chance for games coming up after.' I know Howe tells porkies, but that seems pretty clear-cut. Rich Posted Friday at 17:53 Share Posted Friday at 17:53 Fairy snuff. I'd include Arsenal within the 'this week' comment, given it's Friday, but maybe he just meant this weekend.

He’s not GUARANTEED to miss the rest of the season. I said we’ll be lucky to get a few sub appearances from him. Sadly, that’s roughly how it’s been with him since the start of 2024 tbh.
