Seems like he’s now targeting Brum rather than Arsenal based on Howe’s presser. Sigh.

I'd imagine Howe would be looking to play Isak for most of the Arsenal game anyway. Would be good if Wilson could play the first hour of the Brum game, and then sub on Osula or Isak depending upon the game situation.

He'll be injured after that though. And then targeting an April return.

I’ll be honest i didn’t get that from what he said. I reckon he’ll be on the bench for Arsenal.

I’d rather we start Osula in the Brum game. Let’s be real, Wilson is going to miss of what remains of the season and then leave us in the summer, whereas Osula has a future here, hopefully.

Wilson has no right to be starting games ahead of Osula. If he can get back fit, it’s to come off bench as an experienced head (but probably do something stupid again like last time and rip his tit muscle) or to chase a goal and a poacher required.

Why is he going to miss what remains of the season?

Because he’s made of glass. We’ll be lucky to get a few sub appearances out of him.

Whilst I understand the frustration with his injuries, that’s an incredibly negative take.

'Callum is getting there. We have seen him in training this week. He's not been involved in all of the session but part of it. There is no plan to involve him this week but (there is a) chance for games coming up after.'

I know Howe tells porkies, but that seems pretty clear-cut.

Tbf, Hope still seemed fairly convinced it would be Arsenal in his post-presser video.

We only have Fulham this week though? Arsenal and Birmingham are next week. Not being pedantic or clever. Just the way i took it TBH.

Huh? Bloke has played 57 minutes for us this season. 57 minutes

So therefore he is GUARANTEED to be out the rest of the season?

As I said, I totally understand the reticence towards his fitness, but it’s still a very negative take to completely write him off for the rest of the season.

He’s not GUARANTEED to miss the rest of the season. I said we’ll be lucky to get a few sub appearances from him. Sadly, that’s roughly how it’s been with him since the start of 2024 tbh.
