Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

Because we're not supposed to sell players - ever.

Don't really see anything in Anderson to make me upset about him leaving - him and Gordon are best mates so that's interesting. Anyway best of luck Elliot.

Feeding talents to Brighton & Nottingham Forest  Small time as fuck.

Christ man, give it a rest.

I'm actually less disappointed about this one than I am about Minteh. With Minteh or was the unknown potential for greatness. Love that Anderson is a local lad, but Miley has already shown more in a few games than Anderson ever did. He was (sadly) never going to get to the level we needed.

How is it not?

I've genuinely no idea. We're selling a fringe player to Forest, since when is that a big deal?

I like Anderson but the jury is very much still out on his talent.

That's before we even get to the bullshit reason we're having to sell at all, which has fuck all to do with whether the club is small time or big time.

Sad about this one, always felt like it didn't quite click for him but there was potential there.

Necessary due to the shit rules, but sad. Especially because he never scored for us - deserved it after the goal against Forest was disallowed a couple seasons back.

I'm less dissapointed about this one than Minteh too, but Anderson, to me at least, is still our 3rd highest rated talent behind Minteh and Miley and we are now selling two of them.

The midfield depth is starting to look a bit ropey.

Don't trust Willock to stay fit. Longstaff really put me off him last season a lot, and Miley is still so young.

Be interesting to see what we do there.

Wonder if Man Utd fans said the same when we bought Obertan, for example.

One of them has only wore our shirt for a photo shoot and the other one (imo) is not good enough, so hardly like we are selling our star talent

If he hadn't gotten injured last season it could be a different story, that was his big chance to step to the next level and unfortunately he missed it.

As it stands, he doesn't have any qualities that we are going to think about next season and say "fuck I wish we had a player who could [whatever] like Elliot Anderson"

Maybe cos we're finally realising some of the 'talent'we bring through really isn't going to the best thing since Messi?

By all means sell youth players. I'd just like to keep the few ones that have proven to be good enough to play for us.

Aye, but if he isn't going to be able to contribute to the squad in the long term, and as much as I like that he's one of our own he really isn't, then it makes no sense to hold onto him. Especially when he can help alleviate this PSR issue right now.
