If you didn’t know who the manager was, you’d think it was Jones. He’s had much more activity on the touchline. Can’t even enjoy us playing reasonably well because I despise Bruce so much. It’s so bad it has got to this. This would have been so much more fun if they had just canned Bruce and it was just Jones in the dug out. Sometimes the top league club just smashes them but most of the time the non-league side drags the opposition down to their level. We are constantly dragging opposition down to our level. I have lost count of the amount of teams we have played this season who have looked truly appalling and beatable when they play us. Unlike those non-league cup ties, we rarely play up to the oppositions level and show the hunger to win, invariably just looking even worse. Effort is there today though.
