Menace Posted Saturday at 17:29 Share Posted Saturday at 17:29 Honestly if the Saudis bid 90m for Mitoma, 40m for Willock is fair game

HaydnNUFC Posted Saturday at 17:31 Share Posted Saturday at 17:31 Personally have loads of time for him but he looks done.
Vaj Posted Saturday at 17:36 Share Posted Saturday at 17:36 Such a shame because the old Willock is exactly what we need on the bench to change games. This guy is worse than Longstaff and it’s costing us because we look so disjointed every time he comes on

It doesn't lessen someone's opinion Well you get a better overall picture at a live game because of the off the ball view, but my point was generally about questioning a players commitment. Willock has a languid style, I'm sure he was trying as hard as everyone else

Displayname Posted Saturday at 17:57 Share Posted Saturday at 17:57 In his current state he should be nowhere near the pitch. Doesn`t have any positive involvements at all it seems like. Him, Almiron and Longstaff being useless, Barnes and Wilson being injury prones has made what looked like a decent squad in theory look absolutely horrible now. God forbid Gordon or Isak gets an injury.

Maybe he did, but I dont think he did enough to get involved in the game. He didnt invite to make runs or show interest in the ball. A really poor performance from him. Saw very little enthusiasm from a player supposed to fighting for his place in the team.

If he wants into the team he got to show a lot more commitment.
Kid Icarus Posted Saturday at 18:18 Share Posted Saturday at 18:18 (edited) I'm a huge fan and I'd definitely wait to get more evidence than we've had since he's come back from injury. No denying that he's been off it though. Edited Saturday at 18:18 by Kid Icarus
Turnbull2000 Posted Saturday at 18:18 Share Posted Saturday at 18:18 Feel sorry for him. But offers sweet fuck all now and needs cut loose in the summer.
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Saturday at 18:23 Share Posted Saturday at 18:23 I’m definitely out on Willock now, he looks so poor. Definitely shouldn’t be our first midfield sub.
duo Posted Saturday at 18:39 Share Posted Saturday at 18:39 Anonymous - literally added nothing when he came on.
80 Posted Saturday at 18:45 Share Posted Saturday at 18:45 Head's gone. Been hoping the fact Howe has persevered with him as the primary sub is a sign of hope for his future, but it might just say more about Longstaff...

St1pe Posted Saturday at 18:46 Share Posted Saturday at 18:46 I get why it happens but hate how fast people forget after a bad performance like that. Before people jump on this comment I understand he’s been off the boil for a bit. We’re not talking about a total shit player here though, think the assist for Isak and some of the goals he’s scored for us. He just needs some game time and to find his way again and he’ll still be a decent player for us.
ExiledGeordie Posted Saturday at 18:47 Share Posted Saturday at 18:47 We couldn’t keep the ball, Miley would’ve been ideal whereas Willock added nowt.
Andy Posted Saturday at 18:49 Share Posted Saturday at 18:49 At this point we know Longstaff and Willock's limitations so yeah I'd rather see Miley be the first option off the bench. I think Willock can offer more than he's showing, but 9 times out of 10 he's going to give you a frustrating performance when he comes on as a sub. When he starts he tends to grow into games in the second half, very rarely hits the ground running in a game.
Kanj Posted Saturday at 18:55 Share Posted Saturday at 18:55 I mean that chance was 2-1 as it goes. As was Livra thru on goal and he seems caught in 2 minds. Wild stuff.
AyeDubbleYoo Posted Saturday at 18:56 Share Posted Saturday at 18:56 We really need to sell Longstaff and Willock and maybe sign two new CMs. One young and one more established.

MagCA Posted Saturday at 20:02 Share Posted Saturday at 20:02 (edited) Per his insta story, looks like he’s received some racial abuse today. No place for it. Hope the club are able to assist him in any way he needs. Edited Saturday at 20:02 by MagCA
