Did so well running down the time at the end.

He did. Came on and played his part and deserves every bit of that winners medal.

I've just decided that he would be a really good buy for West Ham in the summer, they have no legs in midfield as it stands with Soucek, Alvarez & a soon to be banned Paqueta. It would bring in a decent fee, possibly around £25m and allows us to sell without strengthening a Champions League rival.

nufc.com saying concussion protocols will also rule him out of the MU game next week - is that correct?

Know nothing about concussions and head trauma but seems slightly excessive considering he finished the game, no?

Pisser for him if so. Was a good chance to get more minutes and find his form again. Not to mention we actually need him on the pitch for these kind of games.

Probably. It’s supposed to be 10/11 days, but dependent on symptoms to an extent I think.

Alison got concussed for Brazil on 21st/22nd March and still wasn’t playing for Liverpool on Sunday.

Aye, didn’t go off, but it was a pretty heavy collision.

Could have reported in with a headache the next day or something.

I thought he could play as it’s 6 days or so after the incident happened. I could be wrong though.

FA rules states that the earliest return to play date for a player must occur 12 days after the initial head injury or seven days if exceptional criteria are met
